The fruits are green, oval-pyriform shaped, with a yellow flesh with good buttery flavor despite a low oil content.
They are mid-sized and normally ripen from July to September.

Avocado trees are self-pollinating and you’ll get a nice harvest with just one tree. They DO NOT require another variety in order to produce fruit. However, having a Type A and Type B avocado tree increases the chance of successful pollination and fruit set. SIMMONDS is a type A, with avocados ripening from July through September.
