3Gal WHITE PIRIE/PIRI Mango Tree. Rare Mango Variety. Grafted Live Plant Ship with Pot
The White Pirie Mango is considered a small to medium mango tree, can realistically be kept between 8 – 10 feet tall with annual pruning.
Fruits are small to medium-sized mangos that can weigh between 0.7 – 1.5lbs. Depending on the sun exposure,it can have a red pastel blush on the top of the fruit and/or also just remain a yellowish-green color when perfectly ripe. Slicing into the fruit will reveal an orangish-yellow fiberless flesh with a creamy (but not mushy) texture that is also somewhat firm. Furthermore, White Pirie also has a very strong aroma containing a distinct complex piney and resinous notes. Each bite starts out with a strong resinous flavor that packs a punch, but then quickly transitions to a rich, syrupy, sweet flavor with notes of tangerine.
This is a mid season mango ripe and ready to pick between June – July. Recommended to pick when skin is approximately 50% yellow and 50% green.
