This mango is from Myanmar, and is grown on commercial scale in that country for export to other parts of Asia. Also known as the "Diamond Solitaire" or “Guava” mango.
It is considered to be of excellent eating quality and a good producer. They are said to be the best variety available in Myanmar, and are prized for their flavor and fragrance.
The fruit is oval/ovate in shape. The flesh is firm, fiberless, sweet and juicy with just a hint of sourness, a terrific Indochinese-hybrid type flavor. The outer skin is thin and is an orange-yellow in color. They are extremely fragrant.
