When it comes to “pineapple-flavored” mangos, there is one variety in particular that is at the top of it’s class: the Pineapple Pleasure Mango.
The Pineapple Pleasure Mango is considered a medium to large size tree with a medium to vigorous growth habit.
Pineapple Pleasure mangos are medium-to-large in size, can weigh from 1.5-3lbs each, ovoid with a rather ugly bumpy skin, turning a light yellowish green color at maturity with a small amount of red blush when grown close to the coast. The flesh is light-yellow, medium-firm, juicy and fiberless.
The flavor is nothing short of awesome, with tremendous pineapple notes and acidity coupled with very high degree of sweetness.
