This one of the most popular varieties in Thailand. The fruit is traditionally served in Thailand in combination with sticky rice. The mango is extremely sweet sugar-cane like flavor, with a rich Indo-Chinese type. Some mango lovers say Okrung is the sweetest mango in the world! The fruit are small, nicely hang in clusters, and turn yellow when ready to pick.
Okrung is a mid-season mango maturing late-June through July.
