Kathy Mango is considered a small to medium tree, can realistically be maintained at about 10 ft without impacting fruit production. The fruits are classified as medium to large mangos that can weigh between 1 – 1.5 lbs.
At it’s peak ripeness, Kathy has a very nice tropical aroma and nice balance of sweetness containing notes of vanilla, peach, apricot and orange. The fruit’s yellow flesh is fiberless, juicy and has an almost melting texture. The overall texture is reminiscent of what one might expect from a top-tier flavor Zill Indochinese Mango.
KATHY is a mid season mango (June-July)
