The tree has a very compact, slow-growth habit.
Jehangir is a variety from India that was named after a Mughal Emperor. It is a medium-sized round shaped fruit that develops very little color, often green even at maturity, with a fiberless, medium firm flesh that is very light in color, almost white. The rich, complex flavor is resinous and spice-noted, with a good level of sweetness.
It is a mid-season mango ripening from late June through July.
