The tree is small-to-medium in size, are hermaphroditic, and grows up between 3 and 12 meters tall. It has a lot of branches with small leaves and white fragrant flowers and it blooms throughout the year. This plant can tolerate some flooding but also droughts of up to 2 months and can grow in any fertile and water-permeable land.
Araza is a tropical fruit native to South America, specifically Brazil and Colombia. It belongs to the genus Eugenia stipitata and is related to other fruits such as guava, jaboticaba, and pitanga. The fruit has a bright yellow skin with a sweet-sour flavor that resembles pineapple and mango.
Araza has a unique taste that is both sweet and sour, with a flavor reminiscent of pineapple and mango. It’s bright yellow flesh is dense and thick with a tender, succulent texture.
